Katie is our Senior Customer Relations Manager at St Johns Care Home, and she is responsible for ensuring the transition of your loved one into our home is as smooth as possible. Katie previously worked in supported living for two years and takes a great deal of care to get to know each resident and their family. Quality, nutritious and delicious food makes a real difference to our residents’ health and well- being. Our chef, Adrian, works closely with our care teams to understand the needs and preferences of all who live with us. There are also peaceful lounges on every floor if Members wish to entertain family and friends in a more intimate setting. The clinical care of our patients is led by a Consultant Psychiatrist in collaboration with the General Practitioner , nursing staff and other health professionals to provide care and treatment.

We have many different therapeutic methods available to our memory-care residents, such as music therapy and also through using the internet for reminiscing. We encourage our residents to spend time out of the care home, mixing with the local community in many ways. However, for those who would rather not venture out, our activity coordinators are also on hand to bring the outside community to the home – organising visits from local speakers, clubs and school visits.
